Lot 5419 RARE AFGHAN REVOLVING CYLINDER JEZAIL MUSKET.

Cal. .55". NSN. Circa 1750-1850. Round 40" barrel with cannonade muzzle. Matchlock action w/ 4 chambers to the cylinder measuring approx. 8.25" in diameter. Each chamber has it's own protected pan. The matchlock has a spring for the trigger to return the hand allow the user to cycle the cylinder. Hardwood stock set w/ Jezail style buttstock having bone butt. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: folder of paperwork including JC Devine description. CONDITION: this musket appears to have a good antique uncleaned appearance showing dark patina's metal & lanquer wood. Wood shows numerous sm. chip & cracks throughout. The cylinder appears to function & cycle properly by hand. Dark pitted bore. (01-29200/MD). ANTIQUE. $2,500-3,500.
